The Scoop

It is warming up here for summer but I still find I want a jacket almost daily for one reason or another. Sometimes it’s just to run into the grocery store. Other times it’s going to a restaurant.

So, I found a couple of linen jackets that will work perfectly this summer. The red one has the pop of color that I find so fun. The polka dot one can be elevated with slacks and will be nice for evenings out.

Red Jacket

The red jacket is so light and lovely. I will be grabbing it the most because I think it is the most versatile. I could wear it with shorts, skirts and jeans as seen here.

I wore it with a pair of Levis bought a year ago and a pair of Clarks red flop flops. My cute crocheted bag is vintage and oh so cute with this look.

Polka Dot Jacket

Polka Dots are having a fashion moment so I thought it would be fun to add it in a jacket. This jacket ties at the waist but you could easily take it off for a more casual look. I wore it with a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans and clear heels. I carried an old Tory Burch tote that is one of my favorite totes ever.
