Slipping Into Fall
I decided to take the outfits I photographed this week and put them in one post. I have three looks for this week. All are shinning on a trendy fall color, brown.
Are you loving brown this season? If not, what is your color for fall?
In this first look my brown is my top. It is really a layering piece but I liked it with these pants because it was low key and let the details in the pants shine.
The pants are so fun. They have a cross over front that I have never tried before and they are quite comfortable. I don’t know what is going on with brands and sizing though. These are a size 4 and way too big. But since I liked the relaxed fit, I’m keeping them.
I carried my new bag (a gift from my husband for our anniversary), and I wore a pair of mules from last summer. I have a pair of clogs at my other house that I will like with these in the winter. I wore a little chain belt with hearts on it and a gold heart necklace to complete the look.
I got a haircut a couple of weeks ago and I am loving it. I am going back next week to get highlights added. I am thinking of going very light.
This next look brings brown in, via my hat, sneakers and sweater over my shoulders. I wore a simple white tee and my favorite jeans of the summer for this outfit. I carried the same bag in this look. I love how big and slouchy it is. So, fun!
This last look is one I wore for my morning walk and then a trip to the grocery store. It is so comfortable and incorporated brown via, my sneakers and sweatshirt. My joggers are favorites because I like that they are a relaxed fit with a boot cut hem. My top is supportive but very comfortable.
In an update to my exercise routine, I am now back to my walks in the morning. I really injured myself in my last workout and learned that you should never do an intense yoga session followed by a weight lifting session. Who knew? So once again I am adding back in my forms of movement, one at a time and slowly. ARGH!
Thanks for stopping by!
