Fall Trend Alert 2025
My personality is Autumn. Remember the scene in the Gilmore Girls where Richard (Rory’s grandfather) took the Cosmopolitan magazine quiz? He said, “It appears I am an Autumn.”
You all know if you have been here a while, I have always been an Autumn. Look around my house and my closet. It a real thing!
Brown
It’s back bigger than ever!
Here I am in my breakfast nook. I switched out my curtains for fall. I love the ethereal vibe the lace gives. And the rust color is gorgeous. I switch out my curtains at least a couple of times a year. This is my French country coffee and scone space.
In the above pictures I have added a touch of Autumn to my entry way. This is a space I recently redecorated. I painted the wall and created a gallery wall. This is space just outside my dining room and I love to sit here in the morning with my coffee, waiting for day light. I rise at five naturally. Ugh, I know I am crazy.

Now for my outfit. Brown is such a fabulous color. I love it so much that my kitchen in my house in the mountains was painted brown. But anyway, it is having a moment in time. This year you can get it in so many options.
I have these faux leather pants in brown and I love to wear them. They are extremely comfortable, never wrinkle, are light weight and just fabulous. They are from last year. My top is by Rachel Zoe. It is covered with all my favorite colors. I think it is the star of this show! My bag is Italian leather in orange, many years old and my shoes are also old.
Everything I have is old or not available so I have nothing to link for shopping. But I bet you have lots of fabulous things in your closet to create your fall look!
