Last Monday I did a post on a shift dress and how I wore it with a belt (here). This week I decided to try another shift dress and go a little Jackie O and wear a head scarf.

A few years ago the shift dress became very popular. I loved how this unstructured dress looked on other women and bought several.

Today is a big deal for me. It is my birthday and the day I launch into a new business venture.

Some days an outfit comes together and it really reflects my style more than ever.

Sometimes I don't know if I am coming or going but in this midi romper I really don't care!

This post shows one outfit with two different pairs of shoes and two different bags. It is an all neutral outfit which I love in the summer.

Some have commented that they think women my age are too old for ripped jeans but my rule for dressing goes into play here.

Keeping with my dedication to doing posts on dresses, today's dress is another goodin'!

I wore my white ripped jeans and this cute shirt and tan shoes, all old. To add a little zip I grabbed one of my favorite canvas totes and was pleased to see the nautical feel it gave to my outfit!

We are in heaven as the weather here has finally turned to perfection. Warm, sunny and long days.

I thought I might try making Monday my dress day for the blog. This is a goodin! Its several years old and a Calvin Klein.

I love almost every color imaginable but a big piece of dark purple may be my least favorite. But put in little delicate flowers like in this top and I am in love!

I follow a lot of bloggers that inspire me! They range in age from 20s to 80+. I love how I can learn from them all.

I pull this skirt out of the closet again and again. Each summer it just speaks to me.
