As you know, I often try to elevate my mood by adding color to my outfits. In this case, to a very functional wardrobe piece, my Hunter boots. The color reminds me of bubble gum and brings a smile to my face as I walk through our magical forest.

I'm wearing a lilac cardigan by Free People, a J Crew top with greens, purples and pinks, 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans and spring staples of tan wedges and my Tory Burch tote. 

I wasn't sure how this dress would work for me. I don't often wear sleeveless tops or dresses but was pleasantly surprised when I saw how fun the photos turned out.  

Spring time for me is the time for lots of color in my wardrobe. As the last of the cool days go by, color brightens up everything and gets me through

When I first saw this top at Marshals I was drawn to the colors and pattern; it was love at first sight.

I got this dress last spring from the Gap, I loved it so much I also got it in light blue. It is a faux wrap dress that is very versatile.

I jump on the trend wagon often although in my defense I try to make it my own by adding a twist. Bell sleeves is a trend now in its second season by my count and is a trend I think is so darling.

I love the contrast between the masculine shirt and feminne hot pink sandals. It shows that it doesn't matter so much what your wear, but how you wear it.

My favorite part of this outfit are my cute denim slides. Partly because they are unique but also because they are as comfortable and slippers.

I found this fun jacket at a consignment store a few years ago and decided to style an outfit around it. I loved it because of the amazing detail.

I haven't bought shoes at Target I think in years but @dawnedonme showed them on her Instagram and I instantly loved them. They come in  pink too!

If you read my blog much you know how I love a white button down shirt with denim. It is such a classic in my mind. I collect white shirts about like I collect jeans.

I am a huge fan of Mary Tyler Moore, may she rest in peace.

I have tried every style of jean out there over the years and trends have come and gone but my tried and true favorite style is the flared jean with a mid rise.
