Fun Pants
The Scoop
Well summer is going strong. We still have pleasant days but the very hot days are happening consistently. When I first moved to Idaho about 20 years ago, having a day of 100 degrees was unheard of. Now we get up to 100 or more several times during the summer. Last year we had over 20 days of 100 or more degrees. It feels odd.
Anyway, I am extremely happy to hang out at home. I really, on most days have no desire to get out any further than my yard. Each day I start out on my patios, watering my plants and listening to the birds chirp in the trees. I take my walk first thing and then run errands if urgent and then spend the day working on projects around the house. I feel like I am embracing the slow living trend, only my days go fast and I feel very busy. Go figure.
My Look
Although I still love clothes, my interest in them is not what it used to be. I am more interested in being comfortable as I do things around the house. I guess that is why I am not posting as much as I used to. My interests are evolving.
But occasionally I find something cute to share. Like these pants. They are a nice fabric, with sort of a denim feel. But the cut and pattern are unique. They are so comfortable that I can wear them casually or dress them up very nicely!
I am wearing an old Free People tee, fun platform mules by Sam Edelman from last year and carrying a very old wicker clutch by Mar Y Sol. My necklace and earrings are Amazon.
