Painting the Half Bath

The Scoop
We have a half bath just to the right of the entry of our home. It is a beautiful room with custom flooring and cabinetry and even a beautiful chandelier. But it felt a little blah to me so I found a beautiful deep wine color and painted it. You can see I changed out the decor in some of the pictures but the overall effect is calm and warm.
The pictures don’t show the true color very well, but it is a deep wine. The picture on the left is thrifted as is the little solid brass lamps and most of the decor.

You can see in the below pictures how much the lighting can change the color in pictures. The outside wall is the same color as the inside wall. It is consistent in real life.
I am using custom light plates with each room I paint. I think they add to the finished look.

I thought about wall paper on the back wall but decided the paint would give more of the moody vibe and was looking for.

The walls are 10 feet tall so it was some fun getting to the top over the sink. But I took my time. built a make shift scaffolding and it turned out fabulous!
